Aether RapidWeaver Theme Release

Our new theme Aether offers a minimal & business design with a rich set of customization options and all new design features. Aether is fully responsive and works in all modern browsers (works back to IE8). The theme takes advantage of some very awesome HTML5 & CSS3 effects to add an even more beautiful experience for visitors using the latest browsers, though will still appear great in older browsers.

Aether features both a built in slider and an extra content section for imported sliders (this is typically done with plugins like PlusKit). In addition, Aether comes packed with the Glide Slide slider completely FREE. Glide Slide is a fully responsive slider that allows inner content to be placed with a transition effect that emulates parallax animations.

WeaverPix has been tested inside the extra content slider section and performs beautifully – demos of some of our favorite sliders from WeaverPix has been displayed inside the preview of Aether as well.

Finally, Aether comes loaded with a fully responsive lightbox for your photo galleries.

Erebus Responsive RapidWeaver Theme by 1LD

New ‘Erebus’ Theme

Our newest theme Erebus is out and features some awesome web animation effects, clean layout, along with a very rich and engaging mobile display.

The site is, of course, fully responsive as well.

The theme takes advantage of some awesome new HTML 5 and CSS3 effects, but do not worry as we made it fully compatible all the way back to IE7. Older versions of Internet Explorer won’t have the animation effects, but the site will still display beautifully and function perfectly.

Cinema 1.1.0 Update

  • New option to adjust the maximum width of the site. Default was 1260px, now you can set it to 1024px, 960px, and even turn the maximum width off all together. (smaller max-widths make some pages look especially nice, turning it off makes the site look insane! in a good way! no max-width works great with Hang Glider stacks :D)
  • New option to turn off the underline that appears when you hover over the navigation menu items
  • New options to add color to the sub navigation menus (nav ul ul). You can change the color of the text as well as the hover text.
  • Other minor bug fixes

Cabernet 1 Now FREE

I suppose not a whole lot needs to be said here. Cabernet 1 has been out for a while and we don’t get many support questions on it any more… we were considering discontinuing the theme, but thought we’d just make it Free and still offer support.

It’s replacement theme, Cabernet 2, is fully responsive and offers a whole lot more than the first, though the first is still very engaging for minimalistic and photo-oriented sites.

How do we achieve all this functionality while maintaining a quick loading and cross-browser theme? jQuery is pretty much the answer. We’ve taken advantage of some awesome jQuery effects for animating your site yes, but we’ve also used it to minimize load times and acquire clean code.

I released a blog just recently regarding a major update to Canari, though I thought I’d include a few of the major features briefly.

Canari Made Responsive

Our RapidWeaver theme “Canari” just underwent a huge update! So if you’re an existing customer please make sure to download. For new customers, there is no increase on the price, the responsive features are added completely FREE of charge.

Biggest news regarding the update is that the theme is made completely responsive. The preview site should be updated shortly, though it doesn’t currently display the new responsive features.

All the look, theme settings, etc. is all the same, so don’t fear any design changes or aesthetic switches (that was not tampered with).

The other major change is that the slider can now support tons of slider images or none – easily add as few or as many of slider pics as you’d like and alternate which ones run for every individual page.

Thanks everyone for your feedback and requests – it was all very valuable and the key reason for this update.

(There were also a hand full of small fixes and a refined consolidate css fix).
