Lasso Tips
Lasso Tips is a RapidWeaver stack that creates attractive & animated tool tips. This stack can be used to provide helpful information with interactive or passive functionality. Highlight corresponding parts of images or page elements as a point of reference for targeted descriptions, definitions, & even calls to action.
8 Positions
Lasso Tips can be applied to just about any stack within a Stacks page. In this example a simple image stack is wrapped by 8 different Tips. Dashed lassos are automatically wrapped around the image. Each tip has custom text that is positioned according to one of the available tip positions.
Show & Dismiss
There are are many ways to customize how the tips are displayed & dismissed. They can be passive & either display always or only when an element is hovered. They can be interactive and only show/hide when toggled.
*When a tip is set to "Show on hover" & never dismiss, the tip will only be visible while the element is hovered.

Custom Styles
Each tip can be customized to match any website design. Change the color of the dashed lasso, tip background, & tip text. Lassos can also be further customized with different dash styles, thickness, & rounding.
Custom Content
Tip content supports just about any stack not just text. This allows you to create highly customized interactive popups. The styling can rely solely on whatever stacks you want to use. Click the link below to see an example.

Keep Dismissed
Sometimes tips need to provide helpful information, but not when that information has already been provided & dismissed by a page visitor. Lasso Tips provides an optional setting that tracks* which visitors have already dismissed a tip & will not display the tip again when they return to the page.
*This optional setting uses cookies to track when a visitor has dismissed a tip.
