Definition of Terms

General Controls

Button Align: Center, Left, Right. Aligns the buttons location.

Text Align: Center, Left, Right. Align the text inside the button.

Max Width. The maximum with of the button, not to include padding or added margins.

Bold Text. By default this option is turned off. By turning this button on Text is bolded.

Border On. By default this option is turned on. Unchecking it will remove borders.

Border Type: Solid, Dotted, Dashed. Three border types.

Border Size. The size/width of the border in pixels (by default this is set to 1).

Border Radius. By default this is set to 12px, and can be reduced to zero if wish off.

Vertical Padding. By default this is set to 6px and increases/decreases vertical (top & bottom) spacing inside the button.

Horizontal Padding. By default this is set to 4px and increases/decreases horizontal (left & right) spacing inside the button.

URL. The website URL address.

Background Image. Pro version to turn background images on. This open a background image file section.

Bg Image Hover On. By default this is not checked. Checking it will display the image placed in the image file box below it when users hover over the button.

Button Icon. Pro version to turn Font Awesome icons on (turned off by default). Turning this on will expose the next three options.

Icon Glyph. By default this box displays the text “icon-” as all Font Awesome classes begin with this. Proceed to the Font Awesome Icon page to see class titles.

Color Controls

Transparent Bg. By default this is turned off. Turning this option on will cause transparency to background colors.

Text Shadows. By default this is turned on. Turning this option off will remove shadowing in the text/font.

Button Shadows. By default this is turned on. Turning this option off will remove shadowing that displays outside the button.

Background. The color for the background in the button. This option is for when the Gradient option is set to off, though remains in view in other Gradient options as a fallback.

Text. Color of the buttons text/link.

Border. Color of the buttons border.

Text Shadow. Color of the shadowing in the text.

Button Shadow. Color of the shadowing around the edge of the button.

Bg (hover). The color for the background in the button when the user hovers over it. This option is for when the Gradient option is set to off, though remains in view in other Gradient options as a fallback.

Text (hover). Color of the buttons text/link when a user hovers over it.

Border (hover). Color of the buttons border when a user hovers over it.

T Shadow (hover). Color of the shadowing in the text when a user hovers over it.

B Shadow (hover). Color of the shadowing around the edge of the button when a user hovers over it.

Gradients

Gradient: Off, Single, Double. Set the buttons gradient to off (none) by default. Switching it to Single will give  control over starting & stopping colors that are faded into. Double will create 2 starts and 2 stops. All these have hover option color control as well.

Advanced Fx

Advanced Options. By default this is turned off. Turning it on will reveal all advanced options.

Trans Sec In. The time, in seconds, for first transitioning. Note that you can use decimal points.

Trans Sec Out. The time, in seconds, for leaving the transitioning. Note that you can use decimal points.

Text Shadow. By default this is set to 0 0 2px. In order these are Horizontal distance, Vertical distance, Blur – this controls the overal size and angle of text shadows.

T Shadow (hov). The option to increase/decrease shadow size on hover.

Button Shadow & B Shadow (hov). These options are identical to the Text Shadow & T Shadow (hov) options, though they relate to the shadowing around the outside of the button itself.

Button Rotate. The angle of the button on the page. Degrees can be positive or negative.

B Rotate (hover). The angle of the button on the page when hovered over.

Opacity In. The level of opacity when the button loads. 0 = transparent, 1 = solid (not clear). By default this is set to 1.0, though the .0 is not necessary – just a reminder that decimals can and are recommended to be used. For example, 0.5 is 50% transparent, and 0.55 is 55% transparent.

Opacity Out. The level of opacity when the button is hovered over.
